Course Title Inspection and Reliability Evaluation

Objective To provide participants with a wide range of inspection and reliability evaluation methods for static equipment
Main Topics Participants will be introduced to practical methods of inspection and reliability evaluation in Japanese-style maintenance.

 

  1. Maintenance activities for pressure vessels and piping
  2. Non-destructive inspection techniques
  3. Actual trouble cases in refinery plants and their countermeasures
  4. Corrosion control using inhibitors
  5. Case studies and discussion
  6. Visits to:
    • Refineries
    • Material and vessel manufacturers
    • A non-destructive inspection company
    • An engineering company
Qualification Maintenance/inspection engineers (excluding those involved in electricity/instrumentation/rotary machinery) with a university degree and at least three years’ experience in static equipment maintenance in a refinery
