Course Title Human Resource Development (HRD)

Objective To provide participants with training theories, effective training management methods and the skills required of a training manager
Main Topics Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge of HRD in Japan based on an understanding of Japanese-style HRM.

 

  1. History of Japan and the Japanese mentality as the basis of Japanese-style HRM & HRD
  2. Introduction of Japanese-style HRM and career development/design in Japan.
  3. Recent change in circumstances
    • Japanese society
    • Japanese companies and HRM
  4. HRD under recent circumstances
  5. Visits to:
    • Refineries
    • An oil company
    • An engineering company
    • An university
Qualification Training managers or high-level staff with at least several years’ experience in in-house training and education, or those with an equivalent career
