Objectives
In this course, participants will share information about and discuss future actions to accomplish carbon neutrality as oil- and gas-producing countries and obtain some clues for making strategies and proceeding with a plan to achieve each country’s goal.
This course introduces some activities of the Japanese government and companies toward a carbon-neutral society.

1. Lecture:
     - Overview of oil industry in Japan
     - Roadmap for carbon neutrality in Japan
     - Global trend in carbon credit
     - Standardization of hydrogen, e-fuel
2. Workshop:
     - Group discussion (carbon neutrality in the oil and gas industry)

3. Site Visit:
     - A refinery
     - Local government’s eco-town center
     - A thermal power station
     - An automobile manufacturer

Project Report
