Those who are involved in environmental regulation and management will learn about the history of environmental management in Japan and deepen their understanding of the current status and issues of efforts, such as by the oil industry. It also aims to broaden the perspective of Japanese technology that contributes to environmental management.

1. Lecture:
・Overview of the oil industry in Japan
・History of environmental problems in Japan and environmental management at refineries
・Atmospheric environmental measures
・Soil pollution countermeasures

2. On-site Visit:
・Refinery: Environmental conservation efforts
・Environmental analysis company: 
   Environmental monitoring technology and environmental measurement business
・Water and soil treatment technology company: 
    Water and soil environment improvement technology
・Measuring equipment company:
   Measurement and analysis technology of air, water and gas

Those who have an undergraduate degree or higher and are currently engaged in environmental regulation and management, those who are scheduled to be involved in this business in the future, or those who have
equivalent qualifications.
