The FCW Meeting in UAE, a joint project with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) that began in 2015, was held in Abu Dhabi from June 3rd to 7th. Nine people from Japanese oil-related companies participated in the forum, workshops, and sessions held at ADNOC’s North East Bab, as well as programs at ADNOC HQ and related facilities in the center of Abu Dhabi. They exchanged opinions with participants from ADNOC and OQ (Oman), focusing on women’s empowerment in the oil industry and promoting diversity, and aimed to build networks.

Also during this period, the 18th FCW Forum was held on June 5th at the Accommodation Complex in the North East Bab oilfield, with the theme “A Sustainable Future: Integrating technology and diversity.“

Participants included H.E. Dr. Maitha Salem Al Shamsi (Minister of State), Ms. Fatema Al Nuaimi (Executive Vice President, Downstream Business Management), Dr. Ghuwaya Al Neyadi, (SVP Group Medical & Wellbeing), Tsuyoshi Nakai (CEO of JCCP), Mr. Hassan Ali Alsabiri, (Vice President, Field, NEB), Mr. Yaser Al Mazrouei (Executive Director People), representatives of the Japanese Embassy, and local Japanese companies.
