Joint Technical Cooperation Programs

JCCP actively assists oil industries in oil-producing countries to resolve their technical issues, by transferring Japan's technologies and expertise, and conducting joint development projects, with the cooperation of oil-related companies in Japan.

  1. Basic study
    Basic studies are conducted in regard to the needs, systems and infrastructures in a counterpart organization, with an eye to identifying possible new projects.
  2. Project-finding study
    Surveys are conducted of issues confronting a counterpart organization, and relevant information is collected toward the formulation of a plan for a joint project.
  3. Joint Cooperation Project
    Joint projects are implemented in partnership with a counterpart organization, such as to survey issues that have surfaced in the organization, examine solutions, conduct research and development and demonstration tests, or to demonstrate new technologies.
