Course Title TPM Activities for Refinery Maintenance Management

Objective
To improve the mindset of mechanical/process engineers who are in charge of operations in a maintenance or technical section, and the performance of refinery equipment
Main Topics
The first objective is to understand maintenance management and safety management by TPM in Japanese companies. The second objective is to understand Kaizen and TPM activities through actual examples of Kaizen by TPM in Japan.

2. Maintenance management in Japanese refineries
3. Maintenance and safety management by TPM activities in Japanese refineries
4. Practical exercise and group discussion Problems in your section and their countermeasures
5. Visits to:
    ・ Refineries – to learn Kaizen examples
    ・ A maintenance company – to learn effective maintenance
    ・ An engineering company – to learn about systems for maintenance management and HSE risk evaluation
Qualification
Mechanical and process engineers with a university degree and at least five years’ experience in the operation or maintenance of an oil refinery, or those with equivalent qualifications
