Outline of JCCP Regular Course TR-2-19

To acquire the knowledge of strategic maintenance, materials and corrosion prevention technologies, advanced non-destructive inspection technologies and the latest welding technologies of static equipment for middle management.

Participants will acquire the following knowledge.
 
 1. Maintenance management technologies and strategy, life cycle engineering,
    safety control, etc.
 2. Materials and corrosion prevention technologies of static equipment
   ・Material selection
   ・Material properties
   ・Material deterioration and corrosion, and their mechanisms and countermeasures
   ・Failure analyses and countermeasures, etc.
3. Advanced non-destructive inspection technologies
4. Latest welding technologies and welding reliability 
5. Case study discussion and workshop
6. Visits to:
  ・A refinery
  ・A pressure vessel fabricator
  ・A steel manufacturer 
  ・A welding technology center
  ・An engineering company, etc.

Mechanical/maintenance managers or engineers having at least five years’ experience in static equipment (excluding electricity, instrumentation and rotary machinery) maintenance with a university degree, or those with equivalent qualifications.
