Participants will be introduced to trouble countermeasures and practical methods of inspection and reliability evaluation in Japanese oil refineries. 1. Maintenance management and reliability evaluation activities in the refinery 2. Non-destructive inspection technology 3. Material problems and failure analysis 4. Corrosion prevention and fouling control 5. Case study and discussion 6. Visits to: ・ Refineries ・ A heavy wall vessel fabricator ・ A pipe and tube manufacturer ・ A non-destructive inspection company ・ A plant maintenance company

Qualification
Inspection /maintenance engineers (excluding electricity, instrumentation, and rotary machinery) having at least three years’ experience in static equipment maintenance and a university degree, or those with equivalent qualifications.
