On September 29, 2020, Petro Vietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation, PETRO VIETNAM LPG JOINT STOCK COMPANY and JCCP held a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) using Web system to launch the technical cooperation project named “Modernization of LPG Industry in Vietnam”.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice President, Petro Vietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long, Deputy Director, PETRO VIETNAM LPG JOINT STOCK COMPANY and Mr. Eiji Hiraoka, Senior Executive Director of JCCP signed the MOA under the witness of Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lien, General Manager of Legal Division, Petro Vietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation and Mr. Hironori Hagio, president, Hagio High Pressure Containers, CO., LTD. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice President, Petro Vietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation expressed his gratitude for JCCP’s cooperation and expectations for this project in his speech.

JCCP has cooperated 16 projects in Vietnam since 1996. Fourteen of these projects had been implemented with Petro Vietnam and its affiliates. This is the phase II project in the LPG field following the project that had been implemented until last year. This project has continued to apply the Japanese-style LPG container delivery system to Vietnam from the phase I project, in addition, will apply the latest Japanese LPG container manufacturing systems to contribute to the modernization of Vietnam’s LPG industry.

Continuing from the previous project, Hagio High Pressure Containers Co., Ltd. will participate in this project and promote it by utilizing the LPG-related experience and technology possessed by the company. The promotion of this project is expected to contribute to the modernization of the Vietnam LPG industry and the strengthening the competitiveness of the Petro Vietnam Group. The project is scheduled for the period from FY2020 to FY2022.
