On October 19, 2020, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (PGN) and JCCP held a signing ceremony of Form of Agreement (FOA) using the web conference system to launch the technical cooperation project named “The Collaboration Project with PGN to Improve the Gas Value Chain in Indonesia by Using INPEX’s Experience and Expertise of “Naoetsu Model””. Mr. Syahrial Mukhtar, Director of Strategy and Business Development, PGN and Mr. Eiji Hiraoka, Senior Executive Director of JCCP signed the FOA under the witness of Mr. Shigeharu Yajima, Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer, Global Energy Marketing, INPEX Corporation.

Mr. Syahrial Mukhtar, Director of Strategy and Business Development, PGN expressed his gratitude for JCCP’s cooperation and expectations for this project in his speech.

JCCP has cooperated 11 projects in Indonesia since 1998. This is the first project in the natural gas field. The aim of this project is for improving the gas value chain not only in Indonesia but also in neighboring countries. This project is executed with the participation of INPEX Corporation. INPEX Corporation will provide its experiences and expertise to support this project. The promotion of this project is expected to contribute to the strengthening the competitiveness of the Pertamina Group. The project is scheduled for the period from FY2020 to FY2022.
