Objectives
At the request of the Myanmar Ministry of Electricity and Energy (MOEE), a Japanese expert was dispatched to hold a three-day seminar on LNG technology (from January 15 to 17).
Main Topics

○Overview of Japan’s oil industry (including LNG)

○Liquefaction of natural gas

○Operations of an LNG receiving terminal

○Storage, gas processing and supply of natural gas, and operations and management of shipping facilities

○Gas turbine (GT) technologies (maintenance and repair, mainly for power plants)

Project Report

The three-day program may have been short, but it was highly appreciated by the participants for the extremely useful information it provided with regard to the future operations of an LNG receiving terminal, management of LNG tanks, GT technologies for natural gas power plants, and other such relevant issues.
