Objectives
This goal of course is to provide static equipment maintenance engineers (including those at the management level) with a comprehensive knowledgebase from foundational principles to the latest technologies. The course focuses on material selection, maintenance techniques, corrosion management, and inspection methods for static equipment (excluding electricity, instrumentation, and rotary machinery) specific to oil refining facilities.
Main Topics
1. Lecture:
    - Materials and corrosion management technologies for static equipment.
    - Case study discussion and workshop on material deterioration, corrosion mechanisms, and countermeasures.

2. Site Visit:
    - Refinery: Life-cycle evaluation and management procedures.
    - Engineering company: Corrosion cases and countermeasures, and latest design and technology for extending plant life.
    - Maintenance company: Adequate inspection for life-cycle evaluations.
    - Steel pipe and pressure vessel manufacturer: Latest corrosion management technologies and corrosion mechanisms.
Application Deadline

Qualification
Mechanical/maintenance managers, leaders, or engineers responsible for static equipment maintenance (excluding electricity, instrumentation and rotary machinery) in an oil refinery plant or similar facility. Applicants should have a university degree and more than 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
