Objectives
To provide knowledge of materials, failure measures, inspection technologies and maintenance technologies for oil & gas (LNG/LPG) low/ordinary-temperature facilities
Main Topics
Participants will acquire knowledge of low/ordinary-temperature materials and maintenance method for oil & gas off-site facilities. 1. Maintenance management for off-site facilities 2. On-stream inspection technology, non-destructive inspection technology, Inspection for Corrosion Under Insulation 3. Materials and trouble countermeasures for low/ordinary-temperature storage facilities 4. Welding technologies for high-tensile steel and low-temperature materials 5. Case study and discussion 6. Visits to: ・ A gas company ・ An engineering company ・ A non-destructive inspection company ・ A maintenance company
Qualification
Mechanical/maintenance engineers having at least three years’ experience in the maintenance of off-site facilities and a university degree, or those with equivalent qualifications.
