Objectives
To provide an opportunity to study refinery and technology management of Japanese companies, in order to develop management capability of next-generation leaders in the field of technology and refining.
Main Topics
Participants will learn Japanese management system in technical fields and develop capability required for top technology leaders in oil producing countries. Specifically, participants will study essential parts of the Japanese management approaches to environment, energy conservation, maintenance, safety and technology development. They will build up foresight, strategic decision-making and planning capability which are essential to establish a new management system for national oil companies. 1. Environmental and energy conservation management 2. Maintenance and safety management 3. Technology management 4. Human resource management and leadership 5. On-site visits: ・ Refineries ・ Manufacturing companies (Plant equipment manufacturers, engineering companies, etc.)

Functional or general managers of refineries and technology-related divisions. Recommendation letter of top management is advantageous.
