Persons in charge of technology development and planning aiming for a low-carbon society will understand the current state and future image of Japan’s energy mix, and learn about Japan’s efforts and technologies for realizing carbon neutrality.
In addition, through group discussions, we aim to understand the future role and direction of the oil industry based on each country’s carbon-neutral strategy

1. Lecture:
・Global energy situation and carbon-neutral initiatives
・Overview of the oil industry in Japan
       ~Japan’s energy mix and renewable energy~
・Hydrogen utilization technology, ammonia utilization technology
・Technology development of CCS and CCUS in Japan
・Carbon neutral and the role of the oil industry (discussion)
2. Site Visit:
・Hydrogen utilization technology
・Carbon-neutral strategies and initiatives
・Large scale biomass power plants: Initiatives for zero emissions
・Renewable energy technologies, case studies by local governments
3. Workshop
・The role of the oil industry toward carbon neutrality

Those who have an undergraduate degree or higher and have a managerial position or equivalent qualification who engage in work related to low-carbon technology in a technology development or planning department.
Have conversational level English skills
