To provide a wide range of knowledge and practical skills in conventional control theories, PID tuning, APC skills, and the latest control technologies
Main Topics
Participants will receive practical training to understand the latest control systems, instruments and software by utilizing simulators at JCCP.
1.	Fundamental process control theories and practice
(1)	Computer-aided instruction
・	Process characteristics and PID control
(2)	DCS-controlled miniature plant 
・	Controllability of three operation modes
2.	Advanced process control theories and practice using a miniature plant with DCS
(1)	Model Predictive Control (MPC)
(2)	Operation Support System (OSS) 
3.	Outline of safety instrumented system 
(1)	Safety Instrumented System (SIS)
(2)	Engineering practice with DCS
4.	Visits to:
(1)	Refineries
(2)	DCS manufacture
