Japan Cooperation Center, Petroleum recognizes the importance of protecting personal information. Accordingly, JCCP will handle personal information in compliance with personal information protection-related Japanese laws and regulations in order to ensure its full protection. Personal information will be handled in the following manner:

We will acquire personal information in a fair and lawful manner and use it within the scope of our business activities.

JCCP will ensure the accuracy of the acquired personal information and protect and manage it stringently. All necessary security measures will be taken to prevent the acquired personal information from being leaked. We will not provide nor disclose the acquired personal information to the third party except where a prior consent of the individual identified by such personal information is obtained or except where permitted by laws or regulations. In case where we provide the personal information to the third party after obtaining a prior consent of the individual identified by such personal information, we will request in writing the third party to manage such personal information stringently and appropriately. In case where we commission part of our operations to the third party in order to implement our business purposes, we will oblige the third party in our business contract to manage the personal information appropriately we have provided.

In case where the individuals identified by such personal information request us to notify them of the usage purpose, to disclose, to correct their personal information as well as to discontinue the use of their personal information, we will respond to them appropriately and promptly.

We will establish internal regulations to manage personal information in compliance with Personal Information Protection Law and other applicable laws and regulations.
