Participants will acquire knowledge of advanced quality management systems, including LAS (Laboratory Automation System), in addition to experience in LP simulation from the perspective of environmental regulation and production planning. 1. Quality management in Japan 2. TPM (total productivity management) 3. Statistical approach to quality control 4. JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) on petroleum products and specifications 5. Modernized LAS in refineries 6. Production planning using an LP simulator 7. Presentation and discussion Quality issues and countermeasures in each countries Issues of each participants and class discussion 8. Online analyzer 9. Visits to: Refineries Analyzer manufacturers
Qualification
Engineers with a university degree and at least three years’ experience in a quality control division, laboratory or product planning in an oil refinery, or those with equivalent qualifications
