Objective
To provide knowledge of LNG gas processing technologies in the refining, liquefaction, transportation, storage and utilization stages through lectures and observations at heavy industries and an LNG power station
Main Topics
Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge of LNG, including LNG process engineering and tank technologies, and be able to apply it to their respective organization.

1. Energy situation and LNG use in Japan
2. Outline of an LNG plant and the global market for LNG and unconventional gas
3. LNG process engineering and tank technologies
4. Development and production of LNG
5. Development of natural gas as a new energy source
6. Visits to:
    ・A gas turbine manufacturing company
    ・A manufacturing company of LNG tanks and heat exchangers
    ・A shipping company
    ・An LNG terminal for supply of city gas and electric power where you can enjoy low temperature liquid handling practice.
Qualification
Engineers with a university degree and at least three years’experience in work related to natural gas processing, or those with equivalent qualifications
