Objective
Features of this course: 
1.	Intended for young instrument and process control engineers
2.	Aims to provide a wide range of knowledge and skills from basic to applied technologies
3.	Provides experience through hands-on training in actual DCS (simulators), field devices and others at JCCP and in Japanese refineries and factories
4.	Runs over a long course period to provide the above-mentioned objectives
Main Topics
Participants will receive a wide range of knowledge, from basic to applied technologies of the instrument and process control field, to gain practical training through a systematic program. 
1.	Fundamental technologies
・	Instrumentation and computer system in Japan
・	Basic process control theories and practice
・	Latest DCS systems and engineering practices using them
2.	Engineering and maintenance of field instruments
・	Actual field devices: Control valve, flow meter, etc.
・	Latest field device: Wireless instrument
3.	Advanced process control system and practice
・	Model predictive control (MPC) 
・	Safety instrument system(SIS)
・	Soft sensor technology, etc.
4.	Visits to:
・	Refineries
・	DCS and instrument manufactures
