Objective
This program is aimed to provide the engineers working for power generation plants at the refineries with fundamental knowledge to upgrade the existing power generation plants or to develop the grassroot power generation plants, throughout the comprehensive learning on the technology and business model of power generation industry in Japan.
Main Topics

1. JCCP Classroom Lectures:
  ・	Overview of the Japanese petroleum industry and oil companies’ approach to 
        the electric power business
  ・	Project Management of Power supply business development

2. Discussion with external organization:
  ・	General evaluation of power generation technology by Japanese famous EPC 
        company
  ・	Condition monitoring technology
  ・	Technical aspects on steam turbine 
  ・	Advanced gas turbine combined cycle technology
  ・	Refinery with power generation plant using the refinery domestic fuel

3. Workshop: Group discussion for planning a new power generation project.
Qualification
Mid-level engineer in charge of power plants, satisfying the following requirements.

1.	Academic background:  
University Degree in Engineering (Priority provided to Mechanical, Chemical Engineering and Electric Engineers)

2.	Job experience:
In the job field of designing, operating or maintaining the thermal power plants at oil refineries or petrochemical plants, or new-built or revamping project of the thermal power plants.
・	7 to 12 years for participants from Gulf countries,  
・	10 to 18 years for other participants,
