Daily corrosion management and adequate material selection are the fundamentals of the process safety control.
To provide knowledge of plant materials technologies, corrosion protection technologies for static equipment, to make the basis for
continuing the oil business, for maintenance engineers.

1. Lectures
・ Maintenance management strategy and technologies. Life cycle engineering, etc.
・ Materials and anticorrosion technologies for static equipment
Material selection
Material properties
Material deterioration and corrosion, and their mechanisms and countermeasures Failure analyses and countermeasures, etc.
・ Digital Technologies
・ Case study discussion and workshop
・ Non-destructive inspection technologies
2. Visits to:
・ Refinery : Training Center, actual maintenance management.
・ Pressure vessel manufacturer: Latest anticorrosion technologies, corrosion mechanism
・ Steel manufacturer: Latest anticorrosion technologies
・ Engineering company: Corrosion cases and countermeasures (If the course is carried out online, these visits might be canceled.)
・ Digital technology company : Latest DX and VR technology.

Maintenance managers or engineers having at least five years’ experience in static equipment maintenance (excluding electricity, instrumentation and rotary machinery) with a university degree, or those with equivalent qualifications.
