Objective
Managers involved in low-carbon technology in the technology development and planning departments will advance their understanding of the current state and future vision of Japan’s energy mix, and broadly learn about Japan’s own technology and the current state of its practical application toward the realization of carbon neutrality. 
In addition, through mutual discussions, the purpose is to grasp the direction of the future role of the oil industry in each country based on the current state of the energy mix of each country.

・World’s energy situation and energy mix situation now on
・Japan’s activities on carbon recycling
・Overview of the oil industry & tradition in Japan
   ~Japan’s energy mix and renewable energy~
・Carbon neutrality & function of oil industry (Workshop)

2. Onsite Visit (virtual):
・LNG distributing site: 
    LNG distribution for a low carbon society in Niigata.
・Coal highly efficient power generation site: 
    Coal-fired with CCS and fuel cell for a low carbon society in Hiroshima
・CCUS demonstration testing site: 
   Carbon dioxide separation, storage and utilization technology (CCUS) with a refinery in Hokkaido
・AIST Renewable Energy Research Institute: 
   Advanced renewable energy technology in Fukushima
・Municipal power generation companies (Japan’s “STADT WERKE”): 
   Practical use of local production of electric power for local consumption by renewable energies (wind power, hydropower, solar power, and biomass) run in Shizuoka
・Geothermal & renewable energy-use power generation site:
    Several examples of overseas run by Japan’s oil industry
・Smart plastic recycler (Chemical company): 
    Hydrogen production using waste plastic, and fuel cell power generation technology in Kanagawa
Qualification
Those who have an undergraduate degree or higher and have a managerial position or equivalent qualification engaged in work related to low-carbon technology in the planning department or technology development department.
