Course Title Project Management in Oil and Gas Upstream

Objective
To deepen the understanding of participants, who are team leaders in oil and gas producing countries, about project management in oil and gas related businesses and the business progress in Japanese companies through site visits and discussions among participants, including the lecturers.
Main Topics
1. Lecture:
- Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK®) fundamentals
- The petroleum industry in Japan
- Project management for oil and gas upstream
- Project trends among Japanese upstream companies

2. Site Visit:
- Oil and gas upstream company
- Renewable energy site
- Energy production related supplier company

3. Workshop:
- Team building and stakeholder engagement
- Discussion (challenges in project management for each participant)
- Project management exercises
Qualification
5+ years of experience in oil and gas upstream or related sector, with leadership-level capabilities. Business-level English and presentation skills are also required.
