Objective
For technology leaders to deepen their understanding of project management from the owner’s perspective and their company’s strategy through discussions among training participants, including lecturers.  Additionally, the course aims to deepen participants’ knowledge by discussing digital technologies, which are covered as topics, with representatives from related companies
Main Topics
1. Lecture:
(1)	Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK®) fundamentals (by preliminary e-learning, supervised by the Project Management Association of Japan)
(2)	The petroleum industry in Japan (by preliminary e-learning, JCCP)
(3)	Project management from the perspective of an oil refining company, the project owner
       a) Key points of each phase, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and project closing phases, and the startup operation after the project
      b) Strategy of technology, capital investment, an EPC contract, etc.
(4)	Project cost & risk management
(5)	Construction project simulation, gamification
(6)	Team building & stakeholder engagement.

2. Workshop (Group Discussion):
(1)	Challenges in project management for each participant

3. Site Visit: 
(1)	Energy distribution company: 
・	Digital technology for predictive maintenance
・	Remote monitoring and data analysis for equipment maintenance
(2)	Engineering company:
・	EPC project engineering by utilizing IT (advanced work packaging etc.)
(3)	Electrical engineering and software company:
・	Optimal plant life cycle and efficiency of maintenance operations
(4)	Consulting firm:
・	Application of AR and RBT technology to oil refinery maintenance site
(5)	Steam valve producer:
・	Steam system optimization using DX and reducing energy costs
Qualification
Middle management level in the engineering, technical, planning, and R&D departments or those with equivalent or higher-level qualifications.
